If you have a conservatory built on to your property you will know that the temperature inside it is prone to rise and fall radically. In the winter a conservatory will be considerably cooler than the rest of your home, whilst it will be like an oven in the summer.

Installing a ceiling fan in your conservatory will regulate the temperature throughout the year. In the summer, when it will be at it's hottest, a ceiling fan will be a welcome addition. It will keep the flow of air moving out from the conservatory, pulling in cooler air from the ceiling. You will be able to enjoy eating and relaxing in the comfort of your conservatory, rather than complaining about it being so hot!

Moreover, a ceiling fan in your conservatory will also work winter wonders. Simply leave the patio doors into the conservatory from your home open and turn on the fan. It will start to pull warmer air in from your home so you can enjoy your conservatory, even if it is cold and miserable outside!

When choosing a ceiling fan for your conservatory, take note of how much ceiling space you have available. Find out if your conservatory is absolutely waterproof, and if not get it fixed before installing the fan. Many conservatories have sloping ceilings, so you will also need to ensure that the ceiling fan you do choose can be fixed to a sloping ceiling.
